(Summary description)On December 8, 2023, the first meeting of the eighth session of National Technical Committee 70 on Electric Welding Machine (SAC/TC70) was held in Changsha. Shanghai CHD Welding & Cutting Equipment CO., LTD. was re-elected as a member of the National Welding Machine Standardization Technical Committee. The meeting pointed out that welding is a basic industrial process and supports the development of many industries such as shipbuilding, automobiles, steel structures, and engineering machinery. The extensive application of welding robots has accelerated the advancement of digital, intelligent, and automated technologies in the welding machine industry. The current committee is required to mobilize the enthusiasm of all parties, do a good job in standard formulation and revision, committee services, etc., and support the new development of the welding industry.
